MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
1) Must be officially retired from the United States military to include Reserve and/National Guard personnel and approved by the sponsoring service. Twenty or more years of military service documented as a commissioned officer for senior instructor positions at the time of official separation from military duty. Letter from respective service indicating that the officer/ officer has been certified to be a JROTC instructor by the service will be required. Additional Required Documentation Department of Defense Form 214 (DD214) for active duty personnel National Guard Form 22 (NGB 22) for Retired National Guard Retirees Florida National Guard Form 37 (FNGF 37) for Retired National Guard Retirees (Note: Reserve and National Guard personnel are not given a DD 214 upon retirement).
