Associate Billing and Invoicing Analyst

Remote-Americas (Central Time Zone)-with option to work in Buffalo Grove, IL office

Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm

We have an exciting opportunity for a Billing and Invoicing Specialist.  The Billing Specialist is responsible for the financial transactions from reviewing Sales Estimates, Professional Services Time and Expense, User’s Conference and Educational billings.

 

Some of the things you will be doing:

• Efficient order fulfillment by monitoring sales order requests including validation of:
  • contractual product, pricing, cycle, and payment terms
  • applying customer special handling and purchase order information
  • review current year renewal orders to prior year
• Preparation of monthly Professional Service Time & Expense billing and batch invoicing.
• Preparation of Professional Services ad-hoc billings and monthly review.
• Submit invoices to customer online billing system.
• Create special tax rules in the sales tax system as needed.
• Maintenance and clearing of client financial billing information in corporate system including:
  • purchase orders
  • special handling 
  • online billing information
  • documented management approvals
  • special tax rules
• To act as a central point of contact for billing related queries, including:
  • investigating issues
  • preparing client specific summaries and reports
• Assist with contract renewals.
• Reference process documentation with continuous updates.
• Seek process improvements.

 

What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?

• Associates degree and 3+ years in a finance role
• Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Self-motivated, can work well both independently and in a team 
• Focus on client service and delivery
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience in ORACLE NetSuite, Avalara, and BOX software is highly desirable.

**At CSC, compensation decisions are dependent on a number of factors including job location and the knowledge and experience of each individual. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $43,818.44 to $55,000.00
