Sr Medicaid Project Manager Consultant

Provides coordination and support of client MES Modularity planning project efforts for NTT DATA. The Senior Project Manager position works closely with the project Business Analyst, project leadership, state staff, and other vendors to ensure successful delivery of NTT DATA modularity planning consulting services. This position supports MES roadmap development, status reporting, facilitation, and other project related services at the direction of the NTT DATA project leadership.
Job Responsibilities Include:
• Lead projects where analysis of systems or data requires an in-depth evaluation of complex business process, system process, and industry standards.
• Execute schedules, costs, and documentation to ensure assigned projects come to successful conclusion.
• Initiate corrective action to stay on project schedules.
• Prepare project proposals, cost estimates and participates in sales and proposal presentations.
• Facilitate internal team and external client meetings.
• Develop integrated project management plans, sub-plans, schedules, and work plans.
• Provide advanced knowledge of system development methodology, project management, and system architecture.
• Work with senior client leadership on project or program strategy and execution.
• Develop and present weekly and monthly executive status reports.
• Regularly mentor and review work of less experienced employees.
• Ensure project work is completed on time and with high quality.
• Facilitate regular interactive design and review sessions to ensure project activities and deliverables align to the strategic vision of the client.
• Align skills and experience of project resources to tasks to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Work in and through ambiguity to clarify client goals and objectives while working iteratively toward their achievement.
Basic Qualifications:
• A minimum of ten (10) years of experience with medium to large sized government projects.
• A minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years’ recent experience in the Medicaid Enterprise Services business area.
• A minimum of five (5) years of project management experience working in governmentor medicaid
• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Skills:
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience working as a consultant in a client-facing role.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in business process improvement.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in leading architecture, design, and process development projects.
• A minimum of Experience in leading senior and management level technical consultants in strategic-level process design projects.
• PMI Project Management Professional (PMP)

This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
