A Senior Hearing Care Professional (Sr. HCP) is responsible for all the job duties of the HCP role as well as providing additional support and direction to the region and other HCPs. The Sr. HCP works closely with the Regional Director to leverage their skills to provide training and direction to maximize quality care and service for our patients. The Sr. HCP is seen as a subject matter expert in the hearing care industry regarding patient services and recommendations, and overall business practices.
In addition to meeting the requirements of the Hearing Care Professional Job Description, the Sr. Hearing Care Professional is also responsible for the following:
• Subject matter expert on company practices, policies, and standard operating procedures
• Conducts preliminary interviews of Hearing Care Professional candidates
• Responsible for the onboarding of new Hearing Care Professionals, including the 90 day review
o Responsible for keeping the new Hearing Care Professional on track with the expected training and necessary assessments
• Acts as a mentor for new Hearing Care Professionals and assists with ongoing training
• Support with product trainings
• Support with professional training regarding fitting & testing
• Conduct one-on-one peer mentoring and sales coaching
• Review patient charts and provide feedback as identified by the Regional Leader
• Attend 1:1 unit coaching calls with Regional leader for employees not meeting monthly goals
• Attend, support and co-facilitate as needed the region calls conducted by the Regional leader
• Support the company during Acquisitions within region
• Oversight and or support for Hearing Care Professional Trainees, including assisting with training plans, assisting Supervisors and ensuring program compliance
• Adhere to AC US brand standards
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Education & Certifications:
• Audiologists and Hearing Instrument Dispensers as Hearing Care Professionals. The educational requirements for both Hearing Care Professional classifications are those that are required by the state(s) in which the Hearing Care Professional practices.
• Active and current state-specific license in good standing. License(s) must remain active, current and in good-standing throughout tenure with Audiological Care US.
• Board certified strongly recommended (ABA or NBC-HIS) and strongly preferred
• Additional professional certifications, preferred
Industry/Product Knowledge Required:
• The ability to fit and recommend the most innovative and appropriate hearing care solutions
• Understanding state and federal laws with regard to hearing healthcare
• Extensive functional and technical hearing care solution product knowledge
Skills/Abilities:
• Professional verbal and written communication
• Persuasive negotiating skills to influence outcomes
• Excellent sales skills and service orientation

• Complex problem solving, troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Strong relationship building and counseling skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Experience patient management systems
Work Experience:
• Minimum 3 years relevant hearing health experience selling and fitting multi-brand hearing aids
• Experience with Real Ear Measurements or other verification method
• Proven sales and business growth success within a patient-focused environment
