The Sr. Global Mobility Counselor is responsible for end-to-end global relocation program delivery for ADP’s global short-term assignments, international localization program (permanent transfers to/from the US and third country nationals), and temporary global remote work arrangements. Support team members with long-term assignment program objectives. This position is client focused and requires a high level of responsiveness and customer care to deliver outstanding service to assignees and all other stakeholders.
WHAT YOU'LL DO: Responsibilities
What you can expect on a typical day:
- Counsel assignees on assignment policy and procedures
- Create cost estimates, assignment letters, and offer letter addendums using external technology tool
- Support the management of international relocation costs, including auditing invoices, updating accruals, and managing relocation files cost effectively
- Conduct extended business traveler and commuter assessment and provide consultative advice to the business.
- Respond to associate questions on taxes and compensation
- Track expatriate tax deliverables
- Diligent tracking of all global assignment data to ensure accurate reporting
- Conduct associate satisfaction surveys
- Manage global relocation repayment process
- Partner with internal stakeholders to coordinate assignment movement
- Advise on and implement global mobility policy changes
- Research compliance for immigration, individual income tax, payroll tax, social security tax, and permanent establishment for various types of requests.
- Ensure high service levels by our service providers.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in the global mobility industry role
- Strong, high-level understanding of global immigration and tax requirements
- Strong Excel skills and proficient in other Microsoft Office suite tools including Word and Powerpoint.
- Flexible and available, when necessary, to attend meetings during non-US business hours
BONUS POINTS FOR THESE: Preferred Qualifications
- CRP, GMS, MBA, GPHR, or SHRM-CP certification preferred
- Compensation/Payroll/Customer Service background preferred
- Multiple languages and global experience is a plus
- S. real estate license is a plus
- S. Domestic relocation experience is a plus
- Equus AssignmentPro system experience preferred
- Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and deal with sensitive information.
- Cultural agility, high degree of empathy and ability to manage ambiguity
