Senior Buyer

<p>Main mission: Ensure the supply of the requested quantity and quality of materials required for the mill of Hunedoara according to the Purchasing strategy</p> <p> </p> <p><strong><u>Main activities and responsibility</u>: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Support the mill in its TCO/VIU approach to material needs</li> <li>Assess the local/external market, repartition the needs to different suppliers, negotiate the best terms &amp; conditions, ensure delivery of correct quality &amp; quantity</li> <li>Play an active role in aligning all stakeholders to the strategy</li> <li>Manage emergencies</li> <li>Track and follow-up orders and deliveries</li> <li>Evaluate suppliers and propose areas for improvement</li> <li>Ensure compliance </li> <li>Manage the supplier portfolio for the perimeter</li> <li>Collaborate with European Purchasing Organization to coordinate the buying strategy within EU</li> <li>Carry out benchmarking exercises to bring best practices to Hunedoara</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong><u>Profile</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and effective communication skills</li> <li>Rigor, autonomy, results orientation, proactive approach </li> <li>Ability and willingness to be on the field to execute the strategy</li> <li>Education, Graduate with Higher Education </li> <li>Strong integrity, high stress-pressure resistance</li> <li>Languages:  1. Romanian  2. English</li> <li>Advanced knowledge of Office IT tools – Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Internet Explorer</li> <li>Knowledge and usage of SAP – will be an added advantage</li> <li>Ability to process information, interpret and capitalize on it by providing processed data to decision-makers;</li> <li>Communication and negotiation ability;</li> <li>Experience: - 5 to 10 years experience (preferably Industrial/Manufacturing)</li> <li>Collaborate with the other departments of the company </li> </ul>
