What you’ll do:

-May develop new processes, define processing or handling requirements, compile/evaluate test data.

-Makes recommendations and implements improvements. Reviews requirements for compatibility with processing methods.

-Develops/modifies processes, methods, and controls to meet quality standards. Conducts feasibility studies and recommends process improvements. May provide data mining, reporting, and support to technical network programs and initiatives for network data standards and integrity.

-Analyze, track, and publish methods and procedures.

-Analyze data to identify root cause of network problems. May provide process improvement training.

-Provide technical support on process and compliance. Responsible for analysis, design, development, and documentation of network quality/process improvements.

-Aligns improvement to network performance shortfalls.

-Provides consultation on reengineering techniques to improve network process performance and product quality.

-Develops network methods, techniques and evaluation criterion for results. Analyzes, tracks and publishes network performance and process/quality indicators and results by constructing reports that are geographically illustrative of network process trends and performance.

-Ensures network process capability, control and improvement by implementing procedures and interpreting network standards. Develops network metrics that provide data to measure for future network improvement opportunities. Collects data to identify root cause of network problems.

-Measures performance against network process requirements. Responsible for the development and implementation of network performance metrics, process control points and results management. Writes/edits technical network manuals.

  • Conduct quality reviews (combining design and construction) and present findings and lessons learned in various forums and meetings.
  • Standardize workprint processes for all design functions and promote best practices based on current process and field feedback.
  • Serve as the design point of contact for new engineering systems or process implementations.
  • Organize training sessions as needed and respond to team inquiries.
  • Compile feedback, suggestions for improvement of new and existing engineering systems.
  • Publish regular organizational updates on national/regional design communications.
  • Document key learnings from quality reviews and distribute to the entire organization.
  • Coordinate with regional and national planning-design teams regarding improvements or required changes to current APEX documentation gaps.
  • Support IQ, Waldo, IWM, and other system implementation, continual training, and provide overall assistance for engineers and contractors.

What you’ll bring:

Intermediate level technical professional. Subject matter technical knowledge within a discipline and sound understanding of ATT technologies.

Education:

Typically a BS degree in Math, Science or Engineering preferred or equivalent related network experience.

Experience:

Typically requires 3-5 years experience. Technical Career Pathway (TCP) role.

Environmental Requirements:

This position may be responsible for contributing to AT&T compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions.
