Lead Ruby on Rails Developer - Truck Transportation

Project Description

Urban mobility operator specializing in micro-mobility, curbside management, and multimodal infrastructure for smart cities. What does that mean? We work with government agencies to help manage programs for the public good - we operate bike parking rooms and smart racks, bus stops, and other transit amenities. We partner with cities and transit agencies, like the Bay Area's BART and Caltrain and Los Angeles's DOT and Metro, to deploy and operate solutions that make citizens’ lives better.

Responsibilities

• Help manage programs for the public good
• Be the lead Dev in the team to support

Requirements

• At least five years of experience as a full-time Software Engineer
  Knowledge of and experience with the Ruby on Rails web framework
  Fluency in JavaScript
  Interest in building attractive and functional user interfaces in HTML and CSS with JavaScript sprinkles
  Experience in Test Driven Development
  Four hours per day overlap with the San Francisco-based team. Our team's workday is typically 8 AM to 4 PM Pacific Time.

  Knowledge of additional programming languages
  Experience working with small teams and small organizations
