We collaborate with our business partners around the world to deliver standardized, integrated technology products and services to create tangible business value.</p> <p>To strengthen our IT HUB in Barcelona, we are looking for a Solution Architect to complete our Analytics, Data and Integration (ADI) Department. This position will be part of the Global Business Solution Integration Team, which supports Nestlé markets worldwide through a group of Hubs in different locations that provide support in a shifting time window (FTS model).</p> <h2>Position Summary</h2> <p>The Senior Solution Architect holistically oversees the support of EA activities within the product groups and platforms and ensures a fit within the overall Enterprise Architecture as well as with the product group strategy. The Senior Solutions Architect ensures the necessary leadership, analysis and design tasks related to the development of a product or a set of products within a product group. S/He facilitates a close collaboration with DevOps / development teams and suppliers to secure that the value planned will be delivered in the most optimal way according to the product strategy and the overall value for money objectives linked to the IS/IT strategy.The Solution Architect is also accountable for supervising the design as well as the integration execution within the scope of their product / product group / platform, collaborating with the integration platform team. S/He oversees solution architecture specification.</p> <h2>A day in the life of...</h2> <p>Strategy development - under the supervision and guidance of her/his primary Community of Practice Lead and Product Manager </p> <p>Manages and oversees the architecture for a broader scope of products / platforms, working closely with application architects that manage and design architecture for a single product or product group<br/> Ensures the architectural design for products or product groups and inputs to the roadmap by utilizing knowledge of defined reference architectures, technology trends, and implementation experience in order to translate a business need into a solution blueprint that represents an end-to-end technical solution<br/> Facilitates the evaluation and selection of software product standards and services, as well as the design of standard and custom software configurations<br/> Defines and ensures adherence to the guidelines, standards and solution patterns to secure product-based decisions are aligned with the enterprise's future-state architecture vision<br/> Integration:</p> <p>Supervises the integration of solutions within the product / product group / platform and implements the integration strategy for cross-product group purposes<br/> Oversees the implementation and integration of technical architecture across a product group based on enterprise business strategy, business capabilities and business requirements<br/> Risk management:</p> <p>Identifies the organizational impact (for example, on skills, processes, structures or culture) and financial impact of the solution architecture<br/> Operational effectiveness and efficiency:</p> <p>Ensures that the current-state solution portfolio is monitored to identify deficiencies through aging of the technologies used by the application, or misalignment with business requirements<br/> Is Responsible for the definition and documentation of guidelines, standards and solution architecture to ensure product-based decisions are aligned with the enterprise's future-state architecture vision.<br/> Designs the governance activities associated with ensuring product architecture assurance and compliance<br/> Stakeholder engagement:</p> <p>Engages with Tech Leads, BAs, Product Managers, Product Owners and EA within (and across) the product groups to ensure alignment with the overall enterprise architecture<br/> Leadership:</p> <p>Develops high performing teams and in alignment with the People Process Cycle and the 5 people practices:<br/> Create the context: create alignment, lead by example, promote an open culture and our values in a sustainable way (Sustain the change)<br/> Select talent: recruit and onboard people and plan capabilities for the future<br/> Develop people: coach, define effective (70-20-10) development plan and asses talent, building the right capabilitie for the team and for the organization long-term success<br/> Drive performance: empower and enable people, give and receive feedback, evaluate and differentiate performance, constantly challenge the set up organization to ensure its results and effectiveness<br/>
