OnsiteCollins Aerospace is seeking an experienced Configuration & Data Management (CDM) Analyst within the Quality Systems Compliance team. This role is a centralized business activity that ensures engineering data created, released, transmitted, or exported is done so in accordance with customer, regulatory and company requirements and procedures. You will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks that ensure consistency in interrelated processes required to manage product identification, product structure, change management, disposition of existing materials, information integrity and accessibility.
Onsite: This position will work onsite at our Troy, OH Landing Systems Headquarters. Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in activities and support processes that ensure product and product data meet technical, regulatory and company requirements necessary to maintain configuration control and meet quality management system (QMS) standards.
- Complete tasks that promote efficient, collaborative, and timely engineering change processing, identifying potential deficits in proposed change, opportunity for turnback, accuracy in change disposition & implementation, supporting on time delivery of change release and distribution of change release notification
- Perform work and apply principles, criteria, and procedures of data management in support of coordinating document and data deliverable management, such as customer change notifications and supplier data and document review.
- Manage work autonomously with limited oversight from manager, with ability to identify and troubleshoot anomalies, and consistently follow standard work instructions.
- Position requires superior attention to detail and analytical thinking with capability to communicate complex processes, both verbal and written
- Ensure document and data items comply with data export requirements.
- Approximately less than 5% travel domestically.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.
- 2+ years of Data Management work experience including blueprint interpretation.
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

- Experience utilizing Microsoft Office- Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience utilizing Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) concepts, product data management, change management, PLM workflows and ERP material management, and skills required to keep configuration data and product structuring accurate.
- Experience with a variety of software tools. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Teamcenter.
- SAP experience.
- Knowledge of industry Configuration/Data Management Work Product Management principles, standards, and processes or familiarity with AS9100, ISO10007, MIL-HDBK-61 and ANSI EIA-649B standards.
