Summary

The responsibilities of the PBM PMO Manager will manage the day-to-day activities in the PMO, support and make recommendations on PMO policies and processes. Collaborate with other department leaders/stakeholders to develop projects and programs.

Your role in our mission

  • Accountable for on time, on budget end to end delivery and success of assigned strategic initiatives from a holistic view.  Assess priorities and optimize results within business and time constraints.
  • Active participant in the governance structure within assigned client. Provide transparency for any changes in delivery dates, cross dependencies and forecasts using project management best practices and modelling techniques.
  • Proactively manage risk mitigation and contingency plans. 
  • Manage resources to ensure the success of initiatives and their alignment with business priorities. 
  • Define schedules, identify dependences, manage through issues and risks, and provide updates as priorities and schedules change. 
  • Plan and conduct resource capacity plan for project and make change recommendations to meet delivery with required quality. 
  • Executes, monitors and delivers the objectives with an emphasis on cross portfolio dependency management to ensure timely and effective communication of the status and assessment of risks/issues.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, project management or related field desired
  • Must have experience in the PBM, healthcare industry 
  • 5-7 years of experience with projects/portfolios in an agile environment; Extensive project management skills using various programs to prepare and execute business plans
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred 
  • Advanced knowledge of project development, including process mapping, budgeting and timeline creation
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward project completion
  • Demonstrated effective leadership, collaboration, and analytical skills
  • Advanced verbal and written communication and organizational skills
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs and travel as required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Waterfall, Agile and Scrum experience

The pay range for this position is $86,800.00 - $124,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
