About the opportunity
The Program Manager for Commercial Launch Readiness is a vital role responsible for spearheading the strategy and execution of global commercial launch activities for a portfolio of offerings. This dynamic position requires a blend of program management discipline and business analysis expertise to ensure that new offerings are successfully introduced to the market with maximum impact.
In addition to driving launch readiness, the role incorporates business analysis responsibilities, ensuring requirements are well-defined, processes and systems are optimized, and execution aligns with overall business objectives. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of global launch execution, operational excellence, and the ability to analyze and improve processes to support business priorities.
What you'll get to do
Program Management & Launch Execution
• Develop, oversee, and implement comprehensive global commercial launch strategies, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and market needs.
• Lead cross-functional teams—including Product Management, Services, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain—to ensure cohesive and coordinated launch activities.
• Drive the execution of go-to-market plans, including positioning, messaging, and channel strategies tailored to regional and global markets.
• Establish and maintain robust launch readiness processes, including risk management, timeline tracking, and stakeholder communication.
• Monitor and analyze market trends to adapt and refine launch strategies.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among global and regional teams, ensuring best practices are applied consistently.
• Define KPIs to measure launch success and conduct post-launch reviews to capture learnings and drive continuous improvement.
Business Analysis & Process Support
• Partner with stakeholders to gather, document, and translate business requirements into actionable launch readiness plans.
• Analyze and document current-state processes, identifying gaps and areas for improvement.
• Recommend enhancements to workflows, systems, and tools that improve efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness of launch execution.
• Develop and maintain standardized templates, playbooks, and documentation to ensure consistency in global launch practices.
• Support data-driven decision-making by providing insights from requirements analysis, process evaluations, and performance tracking.
Reporting & Insights
• Provide program reporting, including progress updates and risk analyses.
• Use advanced reporting tools to create clear, data-driven insights for program sponsors, leadership, and stakeholders.
• Contribute recommendations based on performance metrics to optimize both program execution and supporting business processes.
Skills and experience we value
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Operations, or related field; advanced degree a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in global commercial launch, program management, or business analysis roles.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale, cross-functional launch programs with global scope.
• Strong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, workflow documentation, and process optimization.
• Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent a plus).
• Excellent influencing and communication skills, able to engage stakeholders across levels and cultures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with experience using data to inform decisions.
• Skilled at building executive-ready reporting and dashboards.
• Adaptable and comfortable working in fast-paced, global environments with multiple priorities.
