Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

Job Description

The Ad Sales Finance Manager will lead revenue forecasting, analysis, and financial planning for the Bravo network within NBCUniversal. This role offers the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of the Ad Sales business by partnering closely with Sales, Planning, Research, Programming and Corporate Finance teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed ad sales revenue models for key financial planning cycles, including Budget, Long-range plan, and reforecasts.
  • Ownership of Sales reporting and metrics analysis (weekly, monthly, quarterly).
  • Conduct and deliver financial insights and analysis on major sales KPIs including revenue variances, cash pacing, pricing, ratings, and liability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Planning, Inventory) to identify and quantify financial risks and opportunities, delivering insights to senior leadership.
  • Manage month-end and quarter-end close processes, including variance analysis and reporting.
  • Continuously enhance reporting tools and processes to improve efficiency and decision-making.
  • Provide support for revenue analyses, greenlights, pricing scenarios, and other ad-hoc requests and deliverables.
  • Gain expertise in internal reporting systems such as SAP, OnAir, and MicroStrategy.

Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
•    4+ years of relevant experience in finance, preferably with a focus on revenue planning, forecasting, or audit; experience in Media is preferred but not required.
•    Comprehensive understanding of and ability to interpret financial information.
•    Solid analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
•    Effectively communicate financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
•    Robust interpersonal skills and a team player, willing to collaborate effectively.
•    Proactive and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
•    Aptitude to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
•    Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP, OnAir, and MicroStrategy a plus.
•    Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
•    Solid communication, organizational, and presentation skills.

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
