Who We Are

Founded in 2004, Brilliant Corners provides innovative housing and housing-related services to those transitioning from or at risk of homelessness or institutionalization. We develop, own, and manage multi-family supportive housing and licensed residential care homes. Additionally, we implement a broad array of scattered-site, one-on-one supportive housing, and clinical case management programs through partnerships with developmental services, homeless services, veteran services, and health care sectors.

Position Summary

The Executive Assistant helps with the administration of the day-to-day operations of Brilliant Corners’ Partnerships, Advocacy, and Communications department and assists the Chief Strategic Partnership Officer with scheduling, meeting facilitation, communication, basic design tasks and various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

Administrative functions

·        Meeting logistics: Coordinates schedules of multiple stakeholders, venue reservations, refreshments, collects and organizes materials and resources

·        Process payments and handles routine purchases and check requests for Brilliant Corners’ intermediary role

·        Manages CSPO’s calendar

·        Record meeting minutes, track action items, and follow up on deadlines

·        Provides design support for materials used in communications

·        Drafts and edits communications for distribution

Facilitation Support

·        Supports effective major meetings, and team meetings

·        Builds agenda, and presentation decks, ensures facilitator and participants materials are prepared being a sounding board, editor and thought partner

·        Distributes material to all participants in advance

·        Supports participatory decision-making processes and inclusive collection of input

·        Record meeting minutes, track action items, and follow up on deadlines

Specials Projects

·        Provides support to CSPO in strategic plan initiatives

·        Ad Hoc Projects assigned by CSPO

·        Maintains accurate and up-to-date documents/resources

·        Assists with special events planning and logistics

Qualifications:

·        Previous experience as an executive assistant, HR assistant, or in a similar administrative role is preferred.

·        Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

·        Comfortable handling data and numbers

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proofreading and editing abilities.

·        Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), design software and other technologies required by department

·        Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information

·        Proactive attitude with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy

·        Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
