Product Lead (Boston)

The role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced  Product Lead  to join our team in our future Boston office. In this pivotal role, you will provide strategic leadership and guidance to our product development team based in Berlin, driving innovation and ensuring the continued success of our product initiatives. You will be connecting across the US/Europe team and across multiple departments. If you have a passion for delivering exceptional products and the leadership skills to inspire and maintain excellence, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Provide mentorship and guidance to the product development team, fostering collaboration and ensuring projects remain on track
• Ensure product Team is the best possible representative of our customers towards our development team 
• Identify market problems especially on-site
• Collaborate close with Marketing, Sales, Operations and Software to develop solutions that address the market 
• Advocate for user-centered design principles 
• Develop launch plans and go-to-market strategies for major product iterations, collaborating with marketing and sales teams to drive awareness and adoption
• Measure and set expectations for performance
• Drive company strategy based on deep hands-on understanding of the market, together with top management

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Product Manager
• At least 4 years of leadership experience in product development, strategic planning, and team management
• Experience managing and launching a novel product from concept to market
• Demonstrated ability to build an understanding of users and the market from scratch, such as for products that bring digital solutions to previously non-digitized domains or solve existing problems in innovative, unexplored ways
• Proven ability to deeply understand user needs and develop innovative, effective solutions
• Background in B2B products and markets
• Strong knowledge of product management best practices and methodologies
• A versatile product leader with a broad skill set across all product areas, with a talent for teaching and mentoring team members
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective collaboration with stakeholders
• Results-driven and focused on achieving business impact and measurable outcomes
• Based in Boston with a willingness to travel as needed
