Job Summary

This position will support Power’s business planning process for Nuclear. Areas of responsibility include assisting with developing the 10-year long range O&M plan. Assisting with the creation and maintaining of the annual O&M cost plan for various Nuclear operating departments. Performing month end closing activities including journal entries and accruals. Creating/preparing monthly O&M plan vs actual variance analysis to review with stakeholders. Work with stakeholders to forecast risks, opportunities and timing and how they impact the department total year forecast.
This position works collaboratively with Nuclear stakeholders on a day to day basis.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the preparation of the 10-year long range O&M plan for various Nuclear departments.
• Responsible for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process for various Nuclear departments. This will include processing journal entries and accruals, reviewing actual vs plan variance analysis and reviewing/recommending ad hoc analysis as required.
• Responsible for the preparation of the annual O&M cost plan for various Nuclear departments for input into SAP.
• Prepare ad-hoc analysis specifically requested by the client that would provide value added insights to assist in issue identification and solution. Communicate and present findings to various levels of management.

Job Specific Qualifications

Other Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelors' Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or similar degree with applicable business/finance experience.
• 8 years experience in accounting, finance, budgeting or cost analysis.
