Your mission
The Corporate Controller assists in the company’s Financial Planning, Reporting, and Analysis, delivering accurate reporting on P&L, Balance Sheet, Net Working Capital, and Cash Flow to regional teams, the Executive Committee, and the Board of Directors. Working closely with local and regional Finance teams, the Group CEO, CFO, and Accounting Director, the role applies strong judgement and planning to identify underperformance and monitor improvement plans with Regional CFOs.
What you will do
Perform, oversee and direct the financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting efforts company-wide including capital, short and long term planning, financial modelling and business analysis of performance metrics for the company. Partner with the wider finance community and senior management in the execution of these efforts.
Perform and manage the monthly reporting process of the group and ensure timely delivery of management information packages to the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors. Ensure reliable, timely and coordinated reporting (flash, monthly reports, cash flow reports, etc.), in compliance with management requirements to facilitate financial management of the company.
Perform and manage reliable and coordinated budgets, forecasts and communicate group requirements to facilitate strategic financial decisions and financial management of the company. During the year, monitor the alignment of budget and forecasts with strategic and operational plans.
Maintaining and further development of analytical reporting models and interact with the finance and IT community around geographies, segments, principals.
Lead the group analysis of financial results, preparation of forecast and budgets, assist with the accounting and the integration of acquired companies within Azelis with the Corporate Controlling team.
Ensure high quality analysis, explanations, forecasts and other input from selected geographies, principals, and corporate departments to explain and forecast the financial performance to Group CEO and Group CFO.
Prepare the presentations on financial outcomes to the Executive Committee and Board of Directors preceding quarterly publication of results to bring them up to date on the performance.
Assist the Investor Relations department in the preparation of quarterly publication of results, ad hoc performance analysis, investor events, etc.
Support strategic financial initiatives; participate in corporate projects in the area of mergers and acquisitions, (re)financing rounds, capital expenditures, strategy development, systems integration.
Support the Group CEO, Group CFO and Group Accounting Director with their preparation of internal and external meetings with financial presentations and supporting documentation.
Interface frequently and directly with senior leaders across the business, as well as with members of the Business Operations and Accounting staff.
What you bring
University degree level in Economics or Accountancy (Master degree ideally).
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a finance or auditing role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Other languages a plus.
Advanced computer skills on MS Office. Working experience with Microsoft Dynamics and (Power) BI is considered an advantage.
