The targeted hiring range for this full-time position is  $16.35 - $21.67 plus commission depending on qualifications; however, the expanded salary range provides opportunities for advancement. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and job location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, competencies, experience, and relevant education, training or a combination of these things plus market demand. Job Description

Join our dynamic retail team as a full-time Retail Associate in Newington, United States! We're looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to provide exceptional service and contribute to our store's success. This is achieved by promoting the Red Wing Shoe Company’s Ultimate Fit Experience (UFX), selling our premium products, and providing conscientious customer service.

• Guide each customer through RWSC’s Ultimate Fit Experience
• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product selections
• Process sales transactions accurately using our Point of Sale (POS) system
• Handle cash, credit card payments, and returns according to company procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain high customer satisfaction
• Stay informed about product features, promotions, and store policies to provide accurate information to customers
• Participate in loss prevention efforts by remaining vigilant and following security protocols

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous retail experience preferred
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Strong sales abilities and results-oriented mindset
• Proficiency in operating POS systems and handling cash transactions
• Basic math skills for processing sales and managing inventory
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
