Your Tasks:
- EHS Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations. Develop and maintain EHS policies and procedures to safeguard employees and the environment.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits, identifying potential hazards and implementing corrective actions to mitigate risks effectively.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Spearhead sustainability programs, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and carbon footprint reduction. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and achieve sustainability goals.
- Training and Education: Develop and deliver EHS and sustainability training programs for all employees, fostering a culture of safety and sustainability awareness.
- Community Engagement: Engage with the local community and relevant stakeholders to promote sustainability efforts and foster positive relationships.
Your Tasks:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 8 to 10 years of experience in plant EHS management with a proven track record of successful program development and implementation.
- Knowledge of local environmental regulations and sustainability best practices.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and engage diverse teams.
- A commitment to diversity and inclusion, with a passion for driving positive change in the workplace.
