Summary:
Ensure proper storage of all goods and materials as well as correct stock levels at all times and in-time supply of Manufacturing and loading/unloading of trucks. Ensure no downtime is caused by missing material.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible to coordinate efficient use of responsible resources (holiday, sick leave, overtime, etc.).
- Responsible for the trouble-free reception and storing away of all goods entering the facility. Responsible for the trouble-free commissioning and loading of all goods leaving the facility.
- Responsible for accurate identification, scanning, sorting, and picking of manufacturing goods in the facility.
- Responsible for the correct scanning and sorting of quarantine parts.
- Responsible for trouble-free line supply of manufacturing with all needed materials (RM, packaging, etc.).
- Coordinate the continuous improvement of all material handling processes with the support of lean manufacturing tools.
- Leading a safety-first approach, maintaining a zero-accident culture. Ensures and monitors work, accident prevention, and safe working environment across the business.
- Responsible to coordinate waste disposal.
- Fulfill assigned primary, secondary, and/or tertiary deputy/back-up roles as required on occasion by the business.
- Responsible for preparing daily pick list and the corresponding customer labels for shipping material handlers.
- Perform scheduled cycle counts.
- Schedule LTL,FEDEX,UPS shipments as needed.
- Process and finalize shipping documents.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY:
- High School Degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the logistics area
- Experienced in the implementation of warehousing methods and scanning systems in warehousing
- Knowledge of LEAN methods in Logistics area
- Knowledge of ERP systems, root cause analyses of errors and definition of countermeasures
- Very good communication skills with different levels
- Very good problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Intercultural competence and hands-on mentality
- Working knowledge of MS Office
