Position Summary

In this role, you will provide case management services, crisis intervention, individual counseling, medication monitoring and training, attend meetings and other duties that are necessary in order to meet the needs of the seriously mentally ill. The Team Leader is responsible for the management and daily supervision of a clinical team. Duties include but are not limited to managing a case load, running groups, deemed point person for questions and problem solving. The team leader will also complete documentation within specified time frames, provide training, quality assurance, staff supervision, administration, and attend required meetings. 

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in social work, sociology, psychology, counseling, or related field 
  • Must qualify as a QMHP as defined by the Illinois Department of Mental Health Rule 132 
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Computer proficiency required
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet agency insurance requirements

What You’ll Do:

As a leader on our ACT team, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and supporting team success. Key responsibilities include:

  • Work scheduled and additional hours as needed to meet program needs
  • Monitor team performance using data and ensure compliance with standards
  • Provide staff feedback through meetings, supervision, and performance reviews
  • Collaborate with the management team to support departmental goals
  • Complete monthly, quarterly, and clinical reports on time
  • Participate in the on-call rotation and respond to crises effectively
  • Ensure accurate, timely clinical documentation per policy and regulations
  • Use evidence-based practices and individualized care approaches
  • Lead with initiative, problem-solving skills, and a focus on staff and client needs
  • Uphold Rosecrance values, policies, and the Code of Conduct
  • Deliver exceptional customer service guided by the Rosecrance Way
  • Serve as a role model and strong steward of our mission
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support overall program success

Schedule

  • Hours: 8:30AM - 5:00PM  
  • Days: Monday - Friday

Work Location

Rosecrance Walnut – Champaign, IL

  • Work Mode: Onsite (community based)

Compensation & Rewards

  • Base Pay:
    • Starting at $55,161/year (pay is based on masters level education, additional pay for licensed staff)
