A Bakery Technical Service role is available at IFF’s location in New Century, KS! If you are looking for an opportunity to work closely with account managers, drive results, and develop positive business relationships, this role is for you!

You will spend your time…
 

• Identifying and developing new opportunities at customer locations
• Having a desire to develop positive business relationships with customers
• Working closely with all bakery account managers to execute on customer account plans
• Ability to interact/collaborate with customer’s management team to drive positive results
• Communicating effectively with all other team members on the IFF bakery industry team
• Assisting the IFF R&D team with testing and development of new technologies and providing feedback of how those technologies will perform in large scale bakeries
• Serving on internal customer teams to collaborate on risk and opportunities
• Driving sales growth through testing and demonstrating IFF products at customer sites
• Reviewing formulation and processes in wholesale bakeries and provide technical solutions to the problems customers may be facing
• Participating in plant start-ups that may require up to two weeks of continuous travel
• Providing business insights
• All other duties that may be required

Qualifications

• AIB graduate or Industry experience equivalent.
• Extensive Wholesale Baking with Management experience with an operations background in large wholesale industrial bakeries.
• Excellent comprehension regarding ingredient functionality, large scale automated baking processes, to include sweet goods, bread, and rolls.
• Excellent process problem solving, and formulation trouble shooting skills.
• Must be a self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel extensively up to 75%.
• Must be competent in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Bilingual is a plus.
