What You'll Do:
- Perform floor care and routine cleaning (dusting, disinfecting furniture, fixtures, equipment, hallways, and common areas) throughout resident apartments and common areas to maintain a clean environment
- Empty and clean waste and soiled linen receptacles
- Clean, restock, and maintain restroom supplies
- Move and arrange furniture and assist with room setups for programs and activities
- Assist in unloading delivery trucks as needed
- Follow proper sanitation methods and safely use cleaning products to uphold cleanliness standards and prevent infection
- Operate housekeeping equipment such as scrubbers, burnishers, extractors and perform advanced floor care such as stripping and finishing floors
What You'll Need:
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- 18 years of age or older (required)
- Prior experience in a long-term care setting, janitorial role, or customer service role preferred
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language
