What You’ll Get to Do

CACI is seeking an Enterprise Configuration Management Specialist for our US Air Force Cloud One Enterprise Application Modernization and Migration contract. This role will be crucial in ensuring proper configuration management practices throughout the cloud migration and modernization process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in configuration management, particularly in DoD environments, with the ability to maintain traceability, repeatability, and accountability for all configuration items across complex cloud migration projects. This role requires a unique combination of technical expertise in configuration management, understanding of DoD processes, and the ability to adapt these skills to cloud environments. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and traceability of our cloud migration and modernization efforts.

More about the role:

  • Provide configuration management planning and tracking for cloud migration and modernization efforts.

  • Implement data management and contract data requirements, including scheduling all submittals.

  • Prepare and maintain status reports and metric charts for program integrated teams.

  • Track software and hardware baseline versions, problem reports, field deliveries, licenses, and tools.

  • Ensure 100% traceability, repeatability, and accountability for configuration items.

  • Oversee configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits.

  • Regulate the change process to ensure only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software.

  • Maintain configuration management for DoD development, tools, and cloud environments.

  • Develop technical solutions to problems requiring regular use of ingenuity and creativity.

  • Work across distinct but overlapping projects, collaborating with multiple teams and customers in various geographic locations.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.

  • 5+ years of DoD configuration management experience.

  • Strong understanding of configuration management principles and practices in cloud environments.

  • Experience with configuration management tools and version control systems.

  • Familiarity with DoD standards and regulations related to configuration management.

  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex information clearly.

  • Current DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have

  • Experience with configuration management in cloud migration projects.

  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms' configuration management tools.

  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Experience with Agile methodologies.

  • Certifications in ITIL, CMMI, or other relevant frameworks.

  • Experience with automated configuration management and infrastructure as code tools.

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity practices related to configuration management.

  • Knowledge of FedRAMP and DoD Cloud Computing SRG requirements.
