What You’ll Do
As the Display Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the sales process for Samsung Display. This includes working directly with customers to understand and evaluate their project requirements and milestones, provide relevant support, and coordinate with senior leadership and local and headquarter engineering teams.
As the Display Sales Manager, you will represent the world’s leading advanced OLED/display company while managing and expanding existing lines of business. Your priorities will be to rapidly learn and understand all aspects of your customers’ business and their display and product requirements while also communicating Samsung Display’s competitive advantages to these customers.
Location: Daily onsite presence at our San Jose, CA Headquarters or Bellevue, WA regional office in alignment with our Flexible Work policy with 10-15% travel.

- Interest and experience in display applications and consumer electronics (Handheld Games, Phones, Laptops, and PC Monitors).
- Manage day-to-day engagements with customers, including interfacing with customers’ procurement and engineering teams to gain knowledge and insight of customer program requirements.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and act as an advisor to the customer.
- You will provide detailed tracking and analyses of customer programs, including program schedules & milestones, volume & revenue projections (and customers’ likelihood to achieve same); and, prepare responses to RFIs & RFQs.
- You will coordinate customer engagement efforts with Sales Management, Marketing, & Engineering to grow SAM and TAM at your customers.
- Work towards strategic business goals as identified by management.
- You will utilize your customer engagement experience to develop trust and strong relationships with customers.
- You will ensure appropriate legal agreements (e.g. NDA, Supply Agreements, MoUs, LoIs, LTAs, etc.) are in place in collaboration with Management and Legal.
- You possess interest in and the ability to understand technical details of customers’ products and will be able to communicate Samsung Display’s competitive advantages to customers.
- Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years or Master's with 10+ years of professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in sales to consumer electronics and/or parallel industries, ideally in sales or marketing roles of increasing levels of responsibility.
- Advanced degree in engineering or business or deep technical knowledge of OLED a plus!
- Proven track record in sales and account management.
- Strong knowledge of customer sourcing & supplier management strategies and contract negotiations.
- Self-starter with the ability to work across geographies and navigate language and cultural barriers.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
