Position Overview
Reporting to the Director of Infrastructure Services, the Network Technician serves as the primary on-site responder for the physical health and connectivity of our campus network. This is a highly mobile, hands-on role focused on the installation, diagnostic repair, and proactive maintenance of LAN switching, wireless systems, VOIP/telecommunications hardware, and security equipment.
As the "face" of infrastructure support, you will spend the majority of your time in the field, ensuring our physical backbone remains resilient, organized, and fully operational. You will work side-by-side with our Network Engineers, bridging the gap between high-level configuration and physical deployment. This includes serving as the primary technical lead for our off-campus residential portfolio, managing third-party ISP relationships and hardware for rented apartments to ensure seamless connectivity beyond the main campus.
This position offers an opportunity to learn enterprise-level systems and grow your technical expertise within a collaborative, mentorship-focused IT department.
