Senior Associate, Equity Derivatives Middle Office

The Team: 

We are looking for a Middle Office professional to work on the Clear Street Derivatives team; a part of the operations division. This role will be focused on supporting clients and business stakeholders in the middle office function.

The Role:

• You will perform daily client reporting and swap blotter updates
• Execute trade confirmations & acknowledgements
• Perform margin reconciliations
• Perform reconciliations related to cash and hedge positions
• Participate in various audits
• Assist in the buildout of new applications and help test during integrations
• Work closely with business stakeholders to fulfill business requirements
• Contribute to process improvement and the general operation of the team and company

Requirements:

• At least three (3) years of professional experience with and a strong knowledge of Equity Derivatives / Swaps products
• BA/BS Degree in Finance or similar major
• Experience working with large data sets
• Understanding of equities trading
• Understanding of margin procedures 
• Understanding of corporate actions and the impact to trades with pending settlement
• Experience with VBA is a plus
• Experience dealing with audits / regulators  is a plus
• Experience with Swap trade booking platforms, Cloud Margin, and/or OSTTRA is a plus

We Offer:

The Base Salary Range for this role is $100,000 - $150,000. This range is representative of the starting base salaries for this role at Clear Street. Where a candidate falls in this range will be based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, and location. This range represents Base Salary only, which is just one element of Clear Street's total compensation. The range stated does not include other factors of total compensation such as bonuses or equity.
