Job Title: Parts Room Attendant

 

Seeking a motivated Parts Room Attendant to join our team. The Parts Room Attendant works under the direction of the Manager/Supervisor/Lead Person, the Maintenance Parts Room Attendant is responsible for Maintaining inventory levels utilizing inventory tracking system while performing usage analysis.

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH:

  • Effectively Maintain Inventory levels utilizing inventory tracking systems
  • Perform usage analysis and make recommendations on improvement
  • Research and source new and improved parts/tools/materials
  • Complies with company policies and procedures and maintains regular work attendance
  • Personal responsibility for following safety rules, SOPs and cGMP guidelines
  • Maintain a 5’s working enviroment
  • Perform other duties as assigned 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • Prior manufacturing experience preferred
  • Knowledge of a computerized maintenance management system that includes receiving and accounts payable; competent in Windows-based software, such as Microsoft Excel and Word, and the ability to learn NBTY Maintenance system in 90 days.
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Basic computer skilles preferred ( Microsoft, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Physical ability to repetitively lift, stand, climb, bend, etc… within a manufacturing environment. 
  • Ability to safely lift 50 pounds
  • Must have basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal directions, signs, policies and procedures
