Requirements
Role: Snow Shoveler
Status: FT & PT, Seasonal, Hourly
Reporting To: Powder Haven Home Services Manager
Our Snow Shovelers will remove snow and ice from decks, walkways, and stairs at various Powder Mountain properties. Working with a team, in proximity of snow removal machines, to generate safe walking conditions throughout Powder Mountain.
Performance Expectations:
- Skilled in salt applications on sidewalks, patios, porches, steps, etc. This includes proper opening/closing/storing of all salt bags
- Be able to work in colder temperatures and know how to dress appropriately for the colder/wet weather
- Remove snow and ice using company standard tools (shovels, ice chippers, salt, etc.)
- Know what snow shovel to use in any given situation.
- Be friendly and engaging to Powder Mountain guests.
- Adhere to Powder Mountains appearance guidelines.
Physical Requirements
- Reach, push, pull, lift, and carry objects that may be heavy (40+lbs)
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and twisting
- Vision requirements – close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception
- Walk on even/uneven/slippery terrain.
- Climb/descend stairs.
- Manual dexterity to operate manual tools and power equipment on a constant basis.
- Safely handle hazardous materials
- Desire to work at 9,000ft in inclement weather.
- Stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
Qualifications:

- Remove snow and ice using company standard tools (shovels, ice chippers, salt, etc.)

- Safely operate snow blowers (after training). Must be 18+ years of age to operate equipment.
- Provide customer assistance and information – ex. Giving directions.
- Work well as a team member
