The Senior Manager of Purchasing and Replenishment is a key leader in the Supply Chain organization that ensures the company has the necessary material at the right location, in the right quantities, at the right time. This will include (but not limited to) supply chain process improvement, people development of a team of buyer/planners, and metric tracking/KPIs to meet ensure inventory capital is deployed to maximize material availability to support high On-Time & Complete delivery performance and short lead-times to Door Customers.
This position will have 8-14 direct reports.

Responsibilities: 
•    Oversee key aspects of direct materials supply planning.
•    Establish and implement methods and best practices related to systems and processes that support inventory management, forecasting, replenishment, and supplier performance.
•    Elevate team’s utilization of technology and eliminate non-value-added inefficient system work arounds.
•    Administer KPI scorecard that monitors inventory levels, material availability, material delivery service levels and material lead-times.
•    Collaborate with Plant Supply Chain, Master Planners, Suppliers and Logistics on processes and procedures, service performance, financial performance, production schedules, inventory levels, and supply chain/inventory visibility.
•    Maintain appropriate levels of inventory at each manufacturing facility to support accurate levels of material availability to minimize potential OSMI.
•    Manage the product life cycle of materials to support, but not limited to, new product and service models, OSMI management and SKU rationalization.
•    Maintain a mentoring process with team to develop skill sets required in their current roles and development for advancement.
•    Monitor, analyze and strategically adjust team assignments to support current capacity requirements as well as future growth.
•    Participate in and lead process improvements for material planning methods and cost and inventory reduction strategies.
•    Collaborate with relevant departments to obtain required information for all Forte Opening Solutions and Production Planning processes, reviewing analyzed results to key stakeholders during Production Planning meeting.
•    Drives total cost of ownership through compliance of national supply agreements, supplier relationship management on issues and inventory requirements, and active dialog with operations to identify opportunities and risks.
•    Manage and optimize OTIF for the raw material flow into the manufacturing environment with fixed customer service requirements.
•    Work with Sourcing, supplier and plant inventory specialists for resolution of issues pertaining to pricing, on-time deliveries, fill rates, quality and specifications.  

Qualifications

•    Minimum 8 years Supply Planning / Purchasing / Procurement experience in a manufacturing environment with at least 3 years in a Supply Chain leadership position
•    Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or MBA preferred
•    Advanced knowledge in Material Replenishment (Materials Requirement Planning, Capacity Planning, Procurement) processes
•    Able to create, lead, and influence an environment that focuses on teamwork and collaboration across multiple plant and remote locations
•    Analytical and process driven
•    Experience working with multiple ERP systems, dynamics AX preferred
•    Advance Microsoft skills including Excel; Power BI preferred
•    Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with key business partners and work across all levels within the organization
•    Ability to quickly respond to changing needs by reallocating and/or managing resources accordingly
•    Accuracy in performing all functions of this position; errors in work could result in significant production delays, insufficient or overstocked inventory levels, additional costs, and dissatisfied customers.
•    Work remotely in Southeast US or within 1hr of Forte Opening Solutions Manufacturing facilities
•    Travel up to 25%
