About the role

Welder/Production Technician **SIGN ON BONUS**

We are looking for a Welder/Production Technician to join our Brea team. Note that this is a hybrid manufacturing role and you will also perform duties associated with all manufacturing operations, including assembly, teardown, troubleshooting, fixturing, and repair of industrial equipment.

Your responsibilities will include welding, assembly, disassembly, repair, and fabrication activities associated with hydraulic actuators and valve assemblies. You will perform work per detailed procedures, work orders, and engineering drawings under robust quality assurance and safety programs.  You will also work closely with engineers, project managers, quality control inspectors, planners, and warehouse personnel.

Location: Brea, CA

Salary: $22.64/hr - $32.00/hr

Your Challenge:

  • Work in a project-based (custom made) manufacturing environment.

  • Perform welding, assembly, disassembly, and refurbishment of equipment.

  • Troubleshoot issues and identify solutions.

  • Communicate with supervisors, engineers, project managers, and other personnel daily.

  • Maintain adherence to strict quality and safety standards.

  • Be able to multi-task and shift priorities as conditions warrant.

What You Bring:

  • 3-5 years welding experience (GTAW, GMAW).

  • Metal fabrication experience including drilling, tapping, grinding, and cutting.

  • Experience with industrial process equipment (valves, cylinders, actuation, piping, etc.)

  • Experience in a “made to order” manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to follow procedures and engineering drawings.

  • Thorough understanding of mechanical systems.

  • Experience with piping and tubing assemblies preferred.

  • Forklift and overhead crane operation desired.
