We’re searching for a Product Operations Manager to join our Aurora Services team. 

In this role, you will

  • Develop and implement a robust release management process.
  • Work with engineering teams to ensure quality assurance and smooth deployment of new features.
  • Track and communicate release progress to stakeholders and manage post-release support.
  • Partner with product managers to define, manage, and communicate a clear roadmap to the organization.
  • Track progress against the roadmap, and raise risks and adjust timelines as needed.
  • Identify and analyze current product development processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement new processes and tools to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
  • Continuously monitor and refine product development processes based on data and feedback.
  • Develop a feedback loop for our technology so that we continually understand how well our products are working for our customers.
  • Analyze user feedback to identify pain points, opportunities, and areas for product improvement.
  • Collaborate with product managers to translate user feedback into actionable product requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years in product operations, with a proven track record of successfully launching and managing commercially successful software products.
  • Proven experience in managing the planning, scheduling, testing, deployment, and training of complex software releases that have high numbers of dependencies.  
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, computer science, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing product roadmaps and releases.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and process improvement methodologies.
  • Experience shipping products to enterprise-sized customers.
  • Solid leadership experience with cross-functional teams in service of a large workstream.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Clear, concise style of communication.

Desirable Qualifications 

  • Experience in the AV, logistics and/or supply chain industries.
  • Experience working in combination software/hardware environments.
  • High level of comfort working in ambiguity. Must be able to define the unknown, create structure and manage change.
  • Passion for self-driving technology and its potential to revolutionize the transportation industry.

The base salary range for this position is $181,000 - $290,000 per year. Aurora’s pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. The successful candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.
