About Redwood Materials

Redwood Materials was founded in 2017 to create a circular supply chain for electric vehicles and clean energy products, making them more sustainable and driving down the cost for batteries. We’re doing this by developing and deploying new technologies to increase the scope and scale of recycled and sustainable materials in the global battery supply chain.

Product Management Intern/Co-op 

We are seeking a highly motivated and self-directed Product Management intern or co-op with a passion for learning, creative problem solving, and collaboration in a fast growing, dynamic environment. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by deep diving into Redwood’s Battery “Services” businesses! 

Responsibilities may include:  

• Evaluating costs, assessing value and analyzing pricing strategies to optimize profitability while ensuring exceptional service delivery to Redwood clients. 
• Collaborating with various teams and departments within the business to support research and projects related to refining, recycling and copper foil. 
• Improving databases and creating dashboards. 
• Manipulating data to create direct feedback and quantified impacts. 
• Opportunity to expand experience into areas of interest! 

Desired Qualifications:

• MBA or B.S. student majoring in Finance, Business, Engineering or Chemistry.  
• Prior internship or work experience in a manufacturing or automotive environment. 
• Extremely organized, detail-oriented and data driven. 
• Ability to develop business cases and justify them with an actual executable plan. 
• You should be skilled at manipulating data with tools including Excel, SQL, enterprise and customer relationship management systems, market data sources, etc.
• Excellent verbal & written communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated, hands-on mindset, with a willingness to contribute at all levels. 
• A passion for sustainability and making the world a better place! 

 

This position may be arranged as either an Internship or a Co-op, depending on the candidate. Details: 

Internship - Summer 2024 (12 weeks). 

Co-op - Ranging from 4-9 months in duration. 

  

This position is located in the Reno, Nevada area. 

The position is full-time. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
