Short Description

Assist Billing Supervisor and/or Manager in monitoring team member’s performance against department standards.

 

Performs billing functions. 

 

Provides excellent customer service. 

 

Interfaces with all levels of staff and management.

Experience Required

5+ years billing/patient accounting experience.

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

Special Requirements

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint);

 

Ability to perform mathematical calculations;

 

Knowledge of managed care insurances, ICD-9 and CPT coding; 

 

Ability to communicate effectively;

 

Ability to work as a team player.
