The Senior Full Stack Engineer Performs software engineering activities in all layers of the stack, from setting up the database to programming in the back-end and the appearance at the front-end. The Senior Full Stack Engineer work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

The Senior Full Stack Engineer is involved in all stages of software development, including front-end development, back-end development, database integrations, network and hosting management, user interface, user experience, and back-end server management. Begins to influence department’s strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with various development and reporting teams and product managers to ideate software solutions.

• Code software applications based on business requirements.

• Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design.

• Write effective APIs and technical documentation.

• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.

• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software.

• Create security and data protection settings.

• Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design.

• Work in a Scrum/Agile type environment and deliver upon assigned work in a timely manner over the course of an iterative project time-table.

• Be available for execution or support of production turns.

• Provide expertise to influence project, initiative, and maintenance technical direction during discovery, planning, and implementation stages.

• Maintain modern development standards with best-practice approaches and development processes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field

• 5+ years' progressive experience in SQL development.

• 5+ years' experience in front-end development and design.

• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree

• Experience hydrating a data lake would be ideal.

Work-At-Home Requirements

• WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.

• A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.  

• Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.

• A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

 

$104,800 - $144,300 per year

 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
