Position Summary
As the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Risk Business Manager, you will be responsible for developing, facilitating, and leading the oversight, development, and execution of the ERP Risk Management Program and all related processes. You will be responsible for ensuring that the ERP Risk Management Program follows the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework and leading practices. You will facilitate dynamic risk discussions and meetings with the internal and external ERP Transformation team to include the technology and implementation partners, as well as with various members of the organization. You will provide proactive input, expertise, and assistance in helping the ERP Transformation team identify, assess, mitigate, and monitor the ERP Transformation risks. The primary ERP Risk Management Program objective is to ensure that ERP Transformation risks are appropriately captured, mitigated, elevated as needed, and reported to the ERP Risk Sub-committee and ERP Program Steering Committee. Additionally, you will be responsible for the oversight, work direction, and contract management of the Verification and Validation (IV&V) vendor.

Tasks and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the ERP Transformation Risk Management Program to include the risk management framework.
- Encourage and facilitate ERP Transformation risk management engagement and awareness activities for the ERP Transformation team and across the organization. This will include, among other things, attending reoccurring business unit staff meetings, assisting in further developing the risk training program for all levels of the organization, scheduling meetings with stakeholders to discuss current and emerging risks as they are identified, and creating self-help risk tools/metrics to assist the ERP Transformation team in identifying, assessing, mitigating, and reporting risks.
- Drive alignment between the ERP Transformation Risk Management and the Enterprise Risk Management Program and framework.
- Facilitate, coordinate, and assist with the periodic review of the ERP Transformation risk register to include assessment of risks, assist in the documentation of the high & swan risk mitigation plans, and achieve consensus on the assessment and mitigations of all ERP Transformation risks.
- Responsible for overseeing, updating, and maintaining the ERP risk register and mitigation plan databases.
- Drive emerging risk management leading practices.
- Assist ERMS management in building alignment, cohesiveness, and engagement of the ERMS team and cross-functional business partner.
- Identifying and establishing Key Risk Indicators (KRI) to monitor critical risks.
- Create risk appetite statements.
- Lead and facilitate ERP risk red sheets, risk deep dives, and risk assessments to enable risk-based decision.
- Create effective PowerPoint presentations and messaging to strengthen risk awareness.
- Responsible for the oversight, work direction, and contract management of the Verification and Validation (IV&V) vendor.
- Attend/present at CPS Energy Board of Trustees, ERP Program Steering Committee, and ERP Risk Subcommittee meetings as needed.
- Attend events and training sponsored by different risk associations.
- Implement initiatives to improve the ERP Transformation Risk Management Program’s effectiveness and efficiency to include training and communication.
- Develop and implement new ideas, metrics, and concepts to drive the maturity of the ERP Transformation Risk Management Program.
- Work collaboratively with various leaders at all levels of the organization to drive the development, management and implementation of strategies and programs.
- Adapts to changing requirements of business area and develops new recommendations/solutions as needed.
- Performs other duties and enterprise risk management activities as assigned.
- Assist in other ERP and enterprise risk projects as needed.
