Summary: As a member of the People, Culture and Sustainability (PCS) team, the Senior Human Resources Business Partner strategically aligns organization business objectives with employees and management in their designated business unit in service to our mission to cure blood cancer and improve the quality of life of all patients and their families. The Senior HRBP is an experienced and strategic HR expert who can transform internal business needs into actionable insights, concepts and strategies. The Senior HRBP possesses a strong learning agility and ability to collaborate across the PCS team and cross-functionally, to develop and implement PCS initiatives and programs that have a broad organizational impact. Core Responsibilities:
• Integrates with business leadership teams as an active, trusted thought partner of choice and leader
• Assesses and anticipates PCS-related needs; thoughtfully challenges and influences managers on implications of business decisions, trends, issues that impact the business area and the organization
• Understands and advances the Employee Value Proposition; promotes the organization as an employer of choice for best-in-class talent
• Resolves complex inquiries, engaging with PCS team members and subject matter experts, as needed, to provide a positive employee experience
• Provides expertise, coaching, and thought partnership in areas such as career planning, performance management, employee relations, learning and development, recognition, and strategy development and implementation
• Partners with PCS team and members from cross-functional teams addressing organizational initiatives, projects, and best practices; collaborates with these teams to ensure high-quality implementation of HR programs such as workforce planning, performance management, succession planning, culture, sustainability, talent acquisition, and compensation planning; leveraging resources as appropriate
• Reviews and analyzes data to identify trends and recommends solutions to improve the overall effectiveness of the organization, satisfaction and engagement of employees, and proper and effective leadership and management
• Maintains a knowledge and curiosity about LLS mission and programs

Education & Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Psychology, or related field; advanced degree preferred
• 8 to 10+ years of experience in HR focused roles, with a minimum of 3 years as an HRBP. Additional relevant education may be considered in lieu of experience.
• SHRM-CP, PHR, or other relevant certification preferred
• Ability to earn SHRM-SCP or SPHR within 12 months of start date.
• Preferred and not required: experience working in a national non-profit organization
Position Requirements:
• Independent judgement in evaluating options to make sound decisions and recommendations
• Ability to quickly build and grow partnering relationships with the business, the PCS team, and other cross functional leaders
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple stakeholders within a complex organization, with proven client management and business acumen skills
• Highly developed problem-solving skills
• High functioning MS Office skills to include, Teams, OneDrive, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc
• Ability to navigate an HRIS to include reporting and data analytics
• Physical demands are minimal and typical of similar jobs in comparable organizations
• Work environment is representative and typical of similar jobs in comparable organizations
• Travel 3-4 times a year based on team and project meetings
