Purpose of Position
The Maintenance Training Instructor, Senior who reports to the Manager of Maintenance Training Programs acts as a strategic partner with Maintenance Leadership to develop and execute learning plans for employees to include initial employment, recurrent, and remedial training. Working in line with the 20/20 Flight Plan and the Continuous Performance model deployed within NetJets, the Maintenance Training Instructor, Senior will construct an adaptive learning curriculum to unite all areas of NetJets Maintenance. Will provide training and support to all levels of employee, from individual contributors to senior maintenance leadership, on systems, policies, and processes.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Execution of communication strategies that highlight systems, processes, and current impacting NetJets Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program.
- During the absents of the Training Programs Managers ensure the Maintenance training and development schedules are kept on track
- Subject matter expert for the NetJets Maintenance Training Programs to include business processes and documentation
- Coordinate and execute various learning methods (e.g., coaching, job-shadowing, in-person instruction, eLearning)
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Maintenance Control, NetJets 145 LLC, Maintenance Leadership
- Qualified Simulator ER&T Instructor and able to write simulator scripts
- Plan and overseas the NJA Recurrent Program
- Maintain Training Footprints for each maintenance job title
- Training consultant for NetJets Maintenance Training and Standards
- Create and deploy adaptive employee training strategies
- Support Maintenance Training Manager by assisting with oversight of department in his/her absence.
