Operates and maintains all Graphics Department printing equipment, including large format flatbed inkjet printer, computer-aided sign making equipment (vinyl plotter) and software programs.
- Trims, weeds, and masks graphics.
- Maintain strong lines of communication to accurately relay project details.
- Work closely with team to schedule projects and maintain job board.
- Proofreading of prints and conducting quality assurance to ensure accuracy.
- Minimize waste by efficiently using ink, media, laminates, foils, and vinyl.
- Order materials as needed.
- Work on different projects simultaneously.
- Operate company vehicle to run errands and drop off shipments.
- Assist graphic installers as needed.
- Maintains a clean and organized workspace.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Operates Epson SureColor S80600L.
- Operates Graphtec FC9000-160 64 cutter.
- Operates cold roll laminator to laminate graphics.
Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
- Ability to follow both written and oral instructions as well as communicate well with others.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Ability to read measuring devices.
- Standing for long periods of time, finger dexterity, and sight (ability to distinguish color differences in prints and blemishes for quality control and for close-up precise work).
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines and standard accepted practices.
Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years’ experience in manufacturing or production preferred
- Experience with graphics production a plus but not required
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
