Senior Application Operations Engineer (Hybrid setup)

As the Senior Application Operations Engineer, you'll own the analysis, simplification, and improvement of our security processes, and co-create automated solutions to streamline the company's process efficacy. What's more, you'll be working in a hybrid setup, perfectly balancing work from home and the office premises.</p> <h2>About the team</h2> <p>The Security Team is the focal point for all security activities across Swiss Re. We are responsible for cybersecurity engineering and operations, governance, risk and compliance. We define and advance the company's security strategy. As a part of the Security Team, Application Operations is the team responsible for running L2/3 support (diagnosis and in-depth issue resolution) for part of the Identity &amp; Access Management (IAM) application landscape. We're looking for an experienced engineer who'll help us to improve our processes and services via diligent analysis and ensure our security agenda is properly followed.</p> <p> </p> <p>In your role, you will…</p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Provide L2/3 tier support for incidents and events related to IAM tools/solutions</li> <li>Collaborate with other Security teams</li> <li>Participate in technical meetings with the Development team, where you can directly influence the outcomes</li> <li>Have a chance to apply your technical expertise to implement efficiencies and automations</li> <li>Keep the documentation up to date</li> <li>Participate in global projects and act as point of contact in given areas</li> <li>Be someone who believes in continuous innovation, is curious and relentless in finding a better way every day</li> </ul> <h2>Your qualifications</h2> <p>Nobody is perfect and meets 100% of our requirements. If you, however, meet some of the criteria below and are curious about providing expert technical support in a well-established cybersecurity team, we'll be more than happy to meet you!</p> <h2>What we need from you</h2> <ul> <li>Experience with Security solutions and/or Application Development as well as end-user support</li> <li>3+ years of broad experience in supporting Security technologies in large, complex environments, preferably SailPoint IIQ</li> <li>Basic knowledge of relational databases, database schemas and data structures</li> <li>Knowledge of SQL</li> <li>Ability to work under pressure</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li> <li>Independence and responsiveness in character and work</li> <li>Willingness to provide support outside of normal business hours if really needed</li> </ul> <h2>Nice-to-have</h2> <ul> <li>Experience with programming and Microsoft Power BI</li> <li>ITIL knowledge certification is a plus (Foundation)</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>We provide feedback to all candidates via email.
