Our team is responsible for developing and maintaining Akamai's cloud storage platform for Linode. Our enterprise grade solution is an essential element to Akamai's Connected Cloud platform. We provide a scalable and secure storage solution for Linode's customers to build their businesses.

As part of our team, you will focus on building highly usable, reliable and scalable storage solutions. Our platform empowers enterprises to create modern solutions to the world's problems.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Getting in early on an exceptionally rare and impactful project
• Working with a small team to solve complex issues
• Getting familiar with Ceph, a storage open source product
• Collaborating with the team to build the CI/CD pipeline for Ceph
• Working heavily with CI/CD tools and building CI/CD pipelines

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Have a depth of experience with Kubernetes and containers
• Be proficient in any CI/CD tool as well as Golang or Python
• Have experience with observability tools
• Be comfortable working with cloud infrastructure
