Job Summary:
The Multifamily Electrician is responsible for installing electrical circuitry and components in new construction apartment and amenity projects.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
· Report directly to the Multifamily Superintendent.
· Direct electrical apprentices when required.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Install boxes, wire, devices, lighting, breakers, and equipment according to the NEC code.
· Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to identify installation layouts.
· Inspect and repair electrical wiring, systems, fixtures, and devices.
· Troubleshoot and repair circuitry and components.
· Maintain safety standards.
· All other duties as assigned by the Multifamily Superintendent.
Skills/Abilities:
· Understand local and national regulations for safe electrical systems.
· Ability to read and execute blueprints and technical drawings.
· Self-motivated and driven to complete job tasks effectively and efficiently.
· Good work ethic and willingness to learn.
· Physical dexterity.
· Ability to communicate clearly.
· Organizational skills.
· Ability to work well with others as a team.
Education and Experience:
· 2-5 years of fast-paced electrical new construction experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
· Must possess own hand and power tools to execute electrical jobs.
· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. at times.
