We are seeking a passionate, highly engaged HR professional to join our team.

This role reports to the HR Director EMEA & APAC and will be leading the Human Resources function for Netherlands (2 legal entities, 4 locations, 2 Business Units) to provide a value-adding and responsive service to local management by supporting the overall local strategy, within the framework of the global human resources strategy.

As the country lead you will be providing governance across all corporate HR policies and procedures.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

  • Leadership.  Provide leadership to the team, including coaching, development planning, and empowerment to ensure skill growth. 

 

  • HR Strategy.  Within the frameworks of local business strategy and global HR strategy, work closely with local management, create, innovate, and implement HR strategies, policies, and practices in line with best practices and governing legislations.

 

  • HR Duties. Responsible for overseen all HR duties such as recruitment, training, and organisational development, overseeing compensation, and benefits, to all business customers in the region. Ensure all employees have written terms and conditions of employment that comply with legislation.

 

  • HR Initiatives. As a member of the EMEA & APAC HR leadership team, recommend, contribute and participate in new initiatives to add value to the business.  Also act as the conduit to both express the local HR needs of the business to corporate HQ and to communicate corporate initiatives and policies locally.

 

  • Performance System.  Lead the Global Performance System process programmes, to ensure high standards are maintained. Lead by example.
  • Collaboration. Lead the annual salary administration program in collaboration with the Compensation and Benefits Centre of Excellence for the region.

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Human Resources experience within a commercial or manufacturing environment.
  • University degree and professional HR qualification is a must.
  • Sound knowledge of employment laws and rules relating to local employment legislation.
  • Language skills: Fluent in Dutch and English. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Embraces diversity and cultural differences.

Travel

20% domestic travel and occasionally internationally.
