Position Summary:

The Senior Project Manager leads the full lifecycle of highly complex, cross-functional organizational and IT initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and successful delivery of business outcomes. This role provides leadership in project management, change management, and process improvement, driving enterprise-wide initiatives that improve operational effectiveness, mitigate risk, and deliver measurable business value. The Senior Project Manager partners with executive leadership, business stakeholders, and technical teams to establish priorities, influence decision-making, and ensure the successful execution of strategic programs and projects.

  • 8am-5pm CST

Salary Range:

$92,600- $120,000 commensurate with experience

Location: Remote- Must be US based, and able to work with no restrictions in the US in a remote home office.

 

How Senior Project Managers Empower Recovery: 

Project Execution

  • Lead and deliver large-scale, complex IT and organizational initiatives from initiation through closure, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and achievement of intended business outcomes.
  • Manage programs consisting of multiple projects, workstreams, stakeholders, and dependencies to drive coordinated execution and value realization.
  • Partner with executive leadership to align initiatives with organizational priorities and strategic objectives.
  • Lead strategic initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, system implementations, and EHR integrations.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and governance documentation to support successful project and program delivery.

 

Change Management

  • Lead organizational change management efforts to support stakeholder engagement, business readiness, adoption, and sustained outcomes.
  • Implement and mature project and portfolio management processes that improve visibility, resource planning, and organizational decision-making. • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership, to drive alignment, transparency, and informed decision-making.

Risk and Issue Management

  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies that may impact delivery, outcomes, or value realization.
  • Manage scope, budget, schedule, and resource changes through established governance and change control processes.
  • Escalate critical risks, issues, and decisions appropriately, providing recommendations and options for resolution.

Collaboration and Communication 

  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define requirements, milestones, dependencies, success criteria, and business outcomes. • Develop and execute communication strategies that provide visibility into project status, risks, decisions, and value delivery.
  • Coordinate activities across internal teams, vendors, consultants, system integrators, and external partners to ensure successful execution and outcome achievement.

Process Improvement and Governance 

  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of PMO standards, methodologies, governance practices, and project delivery frameworks.
  • Facilitate project and portfolio prioritization discussions to support organizational decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Lead post-implementation reviews and benefits realization activities to measure outcomes, capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.
  • Mentor and coach project managers, project teams, and stakeholders on project management best practices, tools, and methodologies.

Education Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher required, OR high school diploma and minimum of 5 years direct experience.

 

Professional Qualifications:

  • 5–7 years of project management experience, including leading large-scale, complex programs.
  • Proven experience with project and program planning, scheduling, reporting, and gov
