<p>What You Can Expect</p>

<p>You will be responsible for: </p>
<ul>
<li>Working in a safe, secure, and compliant work environment. </li>
<li>Motivating and directing employees, aligning them with organizational goals and coaching them for success. </li>
<li>Coordinating maintenance and utilities activities, making relevant decisions, and implementing and Tracking operation targets and developments. </li>
<li>Driving continuous improvement processes and handle deviation or incident-related activities.</li>
<li>Providing training, allocating resources between teams and departments. </li>
<li>Collaborating with other disciplines, such as production, asset, process, project management, authorities, suppliers, and contractors. </li>
<li>Conducting performance checks on activities and coordinating the turnaround planning.</li>
<li>Taking ownership and showing persistence in achieving results and exceeding expectations, collaboration with colleagues and teams, effective communication, and strong leadership skills.</li>

<p>What We Expect</p>
<p> </p>
<ul>
<li>As the ideal candidate, you must have a minimum level 7 qualification in an Engineering discipline and at least 5 years of relevant experience, or a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in a Production environment.</li>
<li>Take responsibility for the operation and improvements of the utilities area, ensuring that services are running efficiently and safely. This includes ensuring compliance with statutory and BASF requirements. </li>
<li>Be responsible for planning and implementing maintenance for the utilities areas. </li>
<li>Oversee issuing and supervising permits for works in the utilities area and managing a team of direct reports. </li>
<li>The upkeep of site documentation systems, including our customized maintenance management system, energy reporting, action trackers and risk assessments, will also fall under your area of responsibility. </li>
<li>Provide support and take on new projects in the utilities areas, including design support, training and documentation support.</li>
