Responsible for the administrative oversight and clinic management in the development, organization and oversight of HOPD clinic operations in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. This includes personnel oversight, quality improvement, staff development, financial oversight and continuous evaluation of efficiency to create operational excellence. Contributes to the strategic development of services by assessing needs to provide comprehensive care to all areas designated as HOPD Ambulatory Clinics. Identifies funding sources to assist in the financial viability of providing services for a specific patient population.
Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts normally acquired through a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration or Healthcare Management, Business Administration or related field with 3 to 5 years' experience in an ambulatory healthcare environment or healthcare management. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, to build and maintain effective working relationships both in and outside the organization. Special interest in serving a vulnerable patient population in an academic healthcare setting.
