DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform preventative maintenance such as: cleaning, grease/oil machines, regular inspections
• On a daily basis: perform set schedule of routine maintenance tasks
• Use various specialized machinery and safety equipment such as ladders, boom or scissor lift to access high areas
• Ensure the grounds and facility are clean and professional at all times
• Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems
• Requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties
• Follow up all work in order to insure repairs and work are performed properly.
• Help with building maintenance such as: painting, concrete patch, lightbulbs replacements, and minor plumbing
• Complete all paperwork neatly, correctly, and in accordance with Company guidelines.
• Willingly work all necessary hours and shifts.
• Help maintain good housekeeping in work areas.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.
• Practice safe work habits at all times.
• Additional duties may be assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED.
Candidates are PREFERRED who offer the following:
At least 1 year of manufacturing experience
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Able to read and follow instructions
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy. Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, volume and rate. Able to apply concepts of high school math.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form. Ability to deal with problems involving one or more concrete variables in standardized situations.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
The individual must have a working knowledge of the following:
Equipment design and capabilities that can be translated into efficient operation.
Read and understand machine schematics
Use power and hand tools
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
May be required to maintain a current Lift Truck Operator License and/or other appropriate certification to work in certain areas or on certain equipment.
