THE JOB:
The main role of the Poker Attendant is to manage chip fills at poker tables and assist players with chip purchases. This position requires adherence to all relevant federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and ordinances, as well as company policies and procedures. You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest’s experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.
THE STARTING PAY RATE: $12.00 / Per Hour + Tips
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Comprehend the procedures and rules for all poker games and tournaments offered
- Provide detailed information about games and tournaments
- Accurately handle money and chip exchanges
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency in all guest interactions
- Manage the game list and seat players according to their requests
- Follow all relevant gaming regulations, policies, and procedures
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Nevada State Gaming Registration
- Must be able to lift & carry 50 pounds
- Must currently hold or be able to obtain a Food Handler’s card
- Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Working knowledge of Poker games
- Six (6) months of previous cash handling experience
- Six (6) months of previous customer service experience
- Proficiency in fundamental mathematical skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and money handling
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- Capable of standing and walking for a majority of the shift
- Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
