What You'll Do
As the Director of Nursing, you will oversee all aspects of clinical care within the Facility, ensuring compliance, excellence in care delivery, and a positive, team-oriented environment.
Your key responsibilities include:
• Leading and managing the nursing department, ensuring high standards of resident care and regulatory compliance
• Collaborating with the Administrator to establish and execute clinical goals and strategic initiatives
• Coaching, mentoring, and empowering nursing staff to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
• Developing, monitoring, and managing the nursing department budget
• Addressing and resolving resident and family concerns with empathy and professionalism
• Serving as a key decision-maker in clinical operations, care planning, and quality improvement efforts

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should bring:
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) – preferred
• Current RN license in the state of Nebraska or a compact state
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility – preferred
• Minimum 3 years of progressive leadership experience (DON, ADON, or Unit Manager) – preferred
• Strong critical thinking, leadership, and interpersonal communication skills
