Job Title: Laundry Attendant
Department: CPH Laundry and EVS
Location: Canton Potsdam Hospital
Hours Per Week: 37.5 hours
Schedule: 5 am to 1 pm; Variable days, Sundays off; every other weekend
SUMMARY:
The Laundry Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean, sanitary, and orderly laundry operations in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards. This role ensures excellent customer service, adheres to all safety protocols, and complies with OSHA and MSDS guidelines.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Remove and properly dispose of trash and waste.
Load and unload dryers, fold clean linens, clean laundry baskets, and assist the washman as needed.
Clean and dust work areas regularly to maintain a sanitary environment.
Maintain the cleanliness and safety of grounds and walkways.
Respond to requests from visitors, patients, and staff in a timely and courteous manner.
Follow OSHA and MSDS guidelines, maintain laundry logs, and support team efforts to ensure high customer and patient satisfaction.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Clean and active NYS Driver's License

PAY RANGE:
$17.39 - $24.03The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
